Behind Waterfalls And Christmas Sales
If you are still hoping to get an art print before Christmas, nows your chance. I have extended my sale for this week so go wild and happy print shopping.
Happy Friday 10th!
Christmas is speedily approaching and the momentum of gift buying, party’s and gingerbread lattes have begun. This week has been a big one for Dan and I as we had our 20-week scan of our little girl who’s making her appearance on the 23rd April 2022! Being halfway through pregnancy I am a tad less productive than I would like to be due to the usual tiredness that comes with growing a little person, but still making progress with my exhibition which will be happening early next year (Date TBC). I have a venue for it now which I will be announcing next year once all is confirmed!
From Behind The Waterfall
Have you ever stood behind a waterfall? It’s an awesome and chilly experience. The cascading force of the water takes your breath away and the mist creates rainbows and shimmering colours.
Over the last few weeks I have been working on this triptych abstract, which I think is finally finished (although I often leave a finished piece for a few months and make changes when I revisit it, so who knows). Skógafoss waterfall in South Iceland is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country with a width of 25 meters and a drop of 60 meters.
Check out this video to see how these paintings were made :)
