Do You Know My Brother...?
Hey everyone,
Hope you had a great week.
This week I had my artwork photographed by the brilliant Chris Orange. Having artwork photographed is a tricky business, it’s really important to have it done well and have good quality images for a website and very high resolution ones for printing. I am very lucky to know just the guy for the job :)
Featured Artist: Chris Orange Photography
Chris is an award-winning landscape, interior and food photographer. Like most photographers, he started out taking photos as a hobby, and over the last 10 years has turned it into a very successful career. He’s worked with Gordan Ramsey, The Natural History Musuem, Glenlivit and Chavas, just to name a few.

Being an outdoorsman, he finds his inspiration from being in nature, especially the extreme kind! Wherever there's wild weather and a landscape that may pose a few challenges to get to, that’s where he wants to be! Along with my sister, we have traveled together around some of the most remote destinations of the UK through all kinds of weather, it’s always been fun and always an adventure.
Thanks to him I have seen with my own eyes that these places provide the most stunningly beautiful scenes: Isle Of Harris & Lewis, Isle Of Skye, Lundy Island, St Kilda to just name a few! There is something unique about the light in these locations on the far edge of the UK that you can’t get anywhere else.
Chris has recently released his second photography book, ‘Edge Of The World.’ It’s breathtaking and captures some incredible landscapes in all weathers. You can buy it here on his website, they make great presents!
Chris’s photography Youtube channel has some epic videos of some of these locations and is definitely worth checking out if you are into photography or just love a beautiful landscape and drone footage!
One of my personal favourites…

It’s a digital painting made with texture brushes and is printed on high quality Giclee fine art watercolour paper. They are £30 with free delivery to the UK. For more details head to my shop.
